There is no good in much of their secret conferences save (in) whosoever enjoineth charity and fairness and peace-making among the people and whoso doeth that, seeking the good pleasure of God, We shall bestow on him a vast reward.

Jews stage anti-Zionist rally in al-Quds

Mon, 19 Apr 2010  |  PressTV
Scores of orthodox Jews have staged a demonstration in al-Quds (Jerusalem) to protest Tel Aviv's policies and its mistreatment of Palestinians.

Members of Neturei Karta (Guardians of the City) gathered in al-Quds's Shabbat Square late on Sunday. The demonstrators shouted anti-Zionist slogans and were carrying sings which read "Jews aren't Zionists."

They also burned the Israeli flag, a move that infuriated security forces who clashed with the protestors and arrested one of them.

The incident comes as Israel is celebrating the anniversary of its fabrication on occupied Palestinian territories more than six decades ago.

Last January, a group of four Neturei Karta members crossed into the Gaza Strip and spent Shabbat there in a show of support for the Palestinian in the Israeli blockaded enclave.

A Neturei Karta delegation also attended a Holocaust revision conference in December 2006 in Tehran, where they thanked Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his "courageous stance against the crimes of the Zionist regime [of Israel]."

They also condemned "Zionist crimes in occupied Palestine" and noted that the Israeli regime took advantage of the Holocaust as an excuse to fabricate the "Zionist entity."
