Will Malaysia face the worst fraud in the next election.
Bersih: Amendments remove safeguards from fraud.
Published on Apr 20, 2012 by malaysiakini - The coalition for clean and fair elections Bersih said today that the amendments to the Election Offences Act passed by the Dewan Rakyat early today remove safeguards from fraud.
In particular, it feels the amendments are frustrating all plans laid out to nab phantom voters and reduce multiple voting.
Speaking to reporters today, Bersih said the amendments - passed by the lower house after midnight - dilute the role of independent polling agents, who are now even told when they can enter the polling station to observe polling and counting of the ballots.
"The Election Commission (EC) can even only allow counting agents in after the counting is done, going by the amendments.

T-shirts bearing Suleiman’s image transported from Saudi, confiscated at Cairo airport.
Cairo International Airport customs authorities confiscated Saturday five packages being transported by an Egyptian passenger arriving from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The packages contained 1,000 T-shirts emblazoned with presidential hopeful Omar Suleiman’s image.
Customs officials searched the passenger’s bags upon arrival. He is requested to pay customs fees for the packages as it is suspected that the contents will be used for commercial purposes.
The passenger was allowed to leave the airport while the packages will be inspected further, as the manufacturer and sender of the shirts remains unknown.
Suleiman’s relations with Saudi Arabia have been a source of controversy since the fall of President Hosni Mubarak in February 2011. Suleiman made his first foreign visit following the 25 January revolution to Saudi Arabia in November 2011. The visit was shrouded in secrecy.
Alaa Al Aswany, an Egyptian novelist and public intellectual, alleged in Al-Safir Lebanese newspaper on Tuesday that “Suleiman is supported by the king of Saudi Arabia, who sent him his private plane and hosted him for discussions although [Suleiman] does not hold any official post.”

Iran Bashing, Terrorism and Who Chose The Chosen People, Anyway?
Uploaded by alawson911 on Mar 30, 2012 - Dedicated to the long-suffering Palestinians and Iranians who have been sidelined by the United Nations in favour of the Nuclear Apartheid State of Zionist Israel in the most blatant exercise in International Double Standards that our world has ever known.
This video demonstrates that the United States is not a democracy, it is a bribeocracy, largely controlled by Zionists. But citizens of other nations need not be complacent, for there is much evidence to suggest that the same pressures are being brought to bear on their politicians and officials to support Israel's excesses, and an Internet search will reveal that the first ever European Jewish Parliament held its inaugural meeting early in February, 2012; something that the mainstream media seemed reluctant to publicise.

Veterans take action to demand immediate withdrawal from Afghanistan
Emergency response to civilian massacre:
In response to the horrible civilian massacre in Afghanistan, March Forward! members held an emergency rally and press conference demanding an immediate withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Afghanistan.
The Obama administration and Pentagon command have issued empty apologies for the atrocity on one hand, while vowing to maintain the conditions which make these atrocities inevitable on the other.
With the rhetoric around the incident attempting to characterize it as an isolated incident by "bad apples," we understand the reality that the death of innocent civilians is an everyday occurrence in Afghanistan. We understand that atrocities like these are the natural outgrowth of a brutal, colonial-type occupation, combined with racist indoctrination within the military and the complete failure of the U.S. government to address the crisis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
