The UN failed again, UN had again participated in a civil war by supporting one side and as such will not succeed in bringing about immediate peace. UN will again, as what is written in their standard text book, has to suppress the other side and impose peace. How long will imposed peace last? This is the problem when the UN functions are defined by US and those interested in reaping the benefits from Somalia once peace is secured.
