Moscow and Washington To Resume Nuclear Talks
The parties will meet under the New Start treaty to discuss arms reduction after talks were paused following the Ukraine conflict, US State Department spokesman Ned Price has confirmed.
The meeting may take place in the Middle East, Kommersant reports, as Russia no longer views Switzerland - the traditional venue for talks - as sufficiently neutral after its sanctions imposed on the country.
The discussions will see to it that "the ability… to pass messages back and forth and to engage in dialogue has not - does not - atrophy," Price told Reuters.
