Regarding this list of Western tanks pledged to Ukraine: 

▪️This is about what NATO sent last year in terms of tanks - mostly modernized Soviet-era tanks Ukrainian forces were familiar with operating/maintaining; 

▪️ Ukraine began the SMO with around 1,000 tanks, between those and all 2022 deliveries, it appears the majority have been destroyed;  

▪️The American M1A2s haven't been built yet. Questionable whether or not they'll be ready for use any time in 2023; 

▪️88 Leopard 1 tanks are antiquated, under-armed and under-armored, unable to be used as "tanks" but instead as assault guns; 

▪️ Anti-Russian media Novaya Gazeta (https://novayagazeta.eu/articles/2022/11/02/the-barren-barrels-en#:~:text=Handmade%20tanks,200%E2%80%93250%20tanks%20a%20year.) admits that Russia can make at least 850 tanks a year (a combination of modernized tanks + new tanks), almost 2x what the West pledged;

▪️ The 850 tanks Russia can make will be of varieties Russian forces are familiar with operating and sustaining on the battlefield;

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova slammed Ukrainian authorities for continuing their wild policies in her weekly briefing Friday, claiming they are “presenting a false image of a ‘peace-loving’ leadership - but the mask has fallen”.

“Ukraine is being presented as a free, state upholding democracy - but it is a Nazi state funded by Anglo Saxons used to confront Russia,” she added.

“The UK and the West have signed their support for the Nazi regime and publicly confirmed their commitment to the criminal actions of the leadership - they are silent about the annihilation of people holding different views. 

“Nobody said a word about how Kiev destroyed critical Donbass infrastructure.”
